Paul and Kate's first book together was 'The Crafting of Narnia' in 2008 for Weta Workshop, with Paul employed as a Concept Designer and Kate as the Design Studio Manager. Kate would then go on to become Weta Workshop's first Publishing Manager and teamed up with Monique on 'The Art of the Adventures of Tintin' and 'The Hobbit Chronicles' book series.

In 2009 Paul established a small creative company called Ignite Inc. His first project under Ignite was with Kate producing the first volume of 'White Cloud Worlds' in 2010. This was published by Harper Collins NZ and attained a US distribution.

This was followed up with volume two in 2012, joined by Monique. This was published by Ignite Inc. and distributed by Harper Collins NZ.

They all reunited once again in 2015 to complete the trilogy, with Ike Hamon coming on board to run their first kickstarter. It was at the time NZ's most successful crowd sourced book raising over $41,000. Volume three was published by Ignite Inc. and distributed by Potten and Burton NZ.

For our team, this publication is primarily a labour of love. We love the art, we love the artists and we love the fans of the genre and that is what drives our small team to bring these publications to life.
